Would be 5 stars if it could translate sentences, great otherwise

Awesome, this app does what it says, I like the recognition ability which looks very magic…

The app works astoundingly great! I love to use it to translate the texts!

My favorite feature is to share the words, very easy to do. Highly recommend it!

Works great now since the update switched to Bing translator. It also now translates sentences. Saves lots of time when studying Spanish.

Good app, but the add-on Japanese dictionary is terrible.

Very satisfied with Camdictionary

Here is the truth. I am not a friend of the developer. Bad. Very bad. So many bugs, I dont know where to start. So I wont. Save your money!!!

My daughter goes to a Chinese school and well our Chinese isnt very well. So to translate Chinese characters to English was beyond difficult for the family but with this app its simple with the camera. We honestly wouldnt be able to help our girl without this app. I would like to ask you guys to make this same app available to iPads.

I liked this app but google translator doesnt work every time.. Please fix it cause i think this app is usefull

I purchased the full app and Oxford dictionary for Japanese and although translations are good enough: * there is no way to know the pronunciation of the translated characters * Oxford dictionary can translate less than 10% of the words I was looking for * When it translates, the information given by the dictionary are under the level of information you would have in other free dictionaries I dont recommend to purchase the app but just use the free version, you wont get more value buying it.

このアプリなしじゃ外国の本が読めないと言いたいぐらい良く出来てるアプリです。英語だけじゃなく日本語、中国言や韓国語などに対応しております。カメラに単語を映すだけだ即座に翻訳してくれます。海外出張をたくさんされる方に大変オススメです。 ps. Horizontal OCR is superb but hope that vertical (top to bottom) character recognition be supported in future release.

Absolute garbage. Take this off the store before I go there myself and kill everyone with a baseball bat.

I dont recommend any one to buy it.

Though I love the idea of having this utility on hand at all times, it simply cant recognize many of the images I scanned. Things like non-standard fonts will not read correctly, no matter how long I try to focus on them.

I hv both paid and free version .. Free version translates only 5 words a day so bought paid version where as the for the paid version the camera is not working pls help ..
