I love this app. The camera function works very very well--even if I handwrite a Chinese character I dont understand. Its so easy to use and the developers are responsive. The latest updates had EXACTLY what I wanted to be added. One of my top five apps period. Definitely the best language app, at least for my needs.

Works most of the time. Im using it for Korean and its usually works which will be nice traveling there. One word that I tried out that did not work was the symbol for "open" and its translation to English was yeast infection... So this could get embarrassing. But still is the most consistent working app of its kind

Does not even recognize simple words. Rip off! I want my money back! Dont waste your time or your money on this app.

The best translating app on the app store

... You have to buy one of the dictionaries In order for Arabic to be recognized? I could really use the OCR recognition when studying Arabic. Anyone knows if adding a dictionary would do the trick? I wouldnt mind to pay $4.99 if it will work with recognition but But it would bother me to pay that much money to just flip through the pages of a dictionary. Other than that, this is really an outstanding app, the concept and actual design are amazing! These developers really put a great work into their app, I am about to upgrade my camscanner to get their OCR function. Thank you!!!

The sound doesnt work.

Difficult to select multiple words. No real help screens. Even after buying the in-app dictionary it still could not fine many of the words. Dont wast your money. You need to have a real steady hand to get real time translation.

The pronounciation of the words isnt clear , I cant hear it well . Plus that the translation is not proffisional , U give only one meaning to the word when it does have many other meanings . You have a big lack in these sides . Wish you fix them .

It does not support my language PERSIAN so it is useless for me but i love the app by the way i cant find a reason to launch the dic

One of my favorite app on iPhone. Good jobs. It would be better if it can select multiple word in vertical due to the Chinese and Japanese language normally read and write in vertical.

I bought it when I was in Korea and badly needed help with some menu translations. I tried and tried, over and over again, with clear pictures of the Hangul on the menu, but it continually told me that the images weren’t clear enough or “no translation found.” I tried it on a Droid, also, to not much of an improvement. At least on the Korean side, I can’t recommend something that doesn’t work.

This functions very poorly and then try to get you spend more money with better dictionarys bad app.

This app was recommended by a friend. It isnt very good and cant translate the simplest text from Japanese to English. Reminds me of South Park freemium episode. Cant someone make the universal translator?

Before, this was an awesome app. I used it all the time while traveling. Now it doesnt work. What gives?
